Godrej Properties acquires 23-acre plot in Greater Noida, eyes ₹7,000 crore revenue

has secured a 23.2-acre residential land parcel in Greater Noida through an e-auction conducted by DMIC Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited, the company disclosed in a stock exchange filing on Monday.

The Mumbai-based developer plans to build a group housing project on the 93,905 sq. metre plot, projecting revenue potential exceeding ₹7,000 crore from premium residential apartments across varied configurations. The company noted the estimate is based on current business assumptions.

The land sits within the DMIC integrated township, a 750-acre smart infrastructure zone in Greater Noida, and benefits from road connectivity to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, and the upcoming Noida International Airport at Jewar.

Gaurav Pandey, MD and CEO of Godrej Properties, said the acquisition strengthens the company’s NCR development portfolio and aligns with its strategy of deepening presence in key micro markets. The company pointed to two recent FY26 project launches in Greater Noida that each generated sales of approximately ₹1,500 crore.

Shares of Godrej Properties were down 0.52 per cent at ₹1,753.50 on NSE as of 10:05 am on Monday, against a previous close of ₹1,762.70.

The stock has shed roughly 22 per cent over the past year and is down nearly 13 per cent year-to-date, significantly underperforming the Nifty Midcap 50 index. Its 52-week high stands at ₹2,506.50, hit in June 2025. Total market capitalisation stood at approximately ₹52,856 crore at the time of trading.

Godrej Properties describes itself as India’s largest residential developer by both value and volume of homes sold, and claims the top global ranking on the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Sustainability Indices as of December 2025.
