Shares of Honasa Consumer Limited jumped sharply on Tuesday, gaining over 8 per cent in morning trade after the Mamaearth parent company filed a bullish operational update for the September 2026 quarter.

At around 12.16 PM, the stock was trading at ₹478.20 on the NSE, up ₹36.10 or 8.17 per cent from its previous close of ₹442.10. The counter touched an intraday high of ₹493.00 against an opening price of ₹449.00. Over 1.83 crore shares had changed hands by midday, translating to a traded value of approximately ₹877 crore. Buy orders accounted for nearly 77 per cent of total order flow. The company’s total market capitalisation stood at around ₹15,571 crore at the time of reporting.

The trigger was a Q2 FY27 quarterly update filed Tuesday morning. Honasa said it expects net sales value growth in the “early-thirties” on a year-on-year basis for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, growth measured on a like-for-like basis after adjusting for a change in Flipkart’s settlement terms that affected the base period.

Mamaearth, the company’s largest brand, is projected to deliver high-teens YoY NSV growth during the quarter, supported by rising brand affinity and a widening offline footprint. The company’s younger brands, The Derma Co., Aqualogica, BBlunt, Dr. Sheth’s, Staze, Lumineve and Reginald Men, are expected to accelerate their YoY growth to around the mid-forties.

On distribution, both General Trade and Modern Trade channels are expected to post strong growth, driven by deeper direct distribution and sharper point-of-sale execution. Online channels are also seen sustaining growth momentum. On margins, Honasa said it expects an early double-digit EBITDA operating margin profile for Q2 FY27, with strong year-on-year gains.

The stock has surged roughly 68 per cent year-to-date, far outpacing the Nifty 500’s 7.5 per cent decline over the same period. It remains off its 52-week high of ₹509.80 hit in August 2026, having more than doubled from its 52-week low of ₹248.40 touched in December 2025. The scrip trades at a trailing price-to-earnings multiple of 57.81.
