ITC Hotels Limited has signed a management agreement for a 101-key Welcomhotel in the Karai area of Gandhinagar, Gujarat, the company said in a stock exchange filing.
The hotel property will expand the company’s hospitality presence across the state capital and industrial hubs of Gujarat. Spread across a nine-acre land parcel, the property will include guest rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a coffee lounge.
The upcoming property will feature more than 10,000 square feet of indoor banqueting and event spaces. Additionally, it will offer 46,000 square feet of landscaped outdoor lawns to cater to corporate events, social gatherings, and destination weddings.
The hotel is located in the Karai area between the Gandhinagar business area and Ahmedabad, providing connectivity to Ahmedabad Airport, GIFT City, and regional sporting and business hubs. The hotel is scheduled to open within this year.
