With an eye on strenghtening the digital core of its operations and with compliance of DPDP in mind, Kauvery Hospital announced on Wednesday it has deployed the NetSfere Secure Communications Platform across its network to strengthen clinical communication and protect sensitive patient information.
The initiative will enable secure communication across distributed care teams while supporting the Group’s data-protection and digital-health priorities, Kauvery Hospitals said.
As Kauvery Hospital expands its network and clinical workforce, secure and reliable communication is becoming increasingly important to ensure seamless coordination across teams and locations.
NetSfere will provide the Group with an enterprise-controlled communication platform, offering a secure alternative to fragmented communication systems and consumer messaging applications.
The deployment builds on Kauvery Hospital’s established focus on digital and data security. As one of India’s early private healthcare providers to receive Platinum certification under the NABH Digital Health Standards, the Group is further strengthening its digital foundation through a secure communication infrastructure.
To be implemented over the next three years, the deployment will benefit 12000+ users across 100+ teams, and enhance patient-data protection and support the Group’s readiness for evolving regulatory requirements, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act), the healthcare provider said.

Among other features, the deployment will involve India-based deployment supporting local data governance,. enterprise-grade security controls and certifications, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve information access and workflow efficiency.
