KJS India Private Ltd is setting up its second unit in Thogarpally village, Kondapur mandal, Sangareddy district in Telangana.
State IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the facility on Friday. The company serves as a co-manufacturing and co-packing partner for several leading global brands, including Nestlé, Hindustan Unilever, Mayora, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories.
The new unit is expected to generate direct employment for 1,551 people and indirect employment opportunities for around 5,000 people. “The project is set to strengthen the global presence of the “Made in Telangana” brand in the food processing and FMCG sectors,’’ a release said.
