Krystal Integrated Services arm bags ₹138 cr solar project

Krystal Integrated Services, a leading facilities management and manpower services company, has announced that its associate company, Krystal Solar Energy SPV has bagged ₹138 crore contract from the Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Maharashtra to setup rooftop solar infrastructure across government healthcare institutions in the state.

The contract entails the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, synchronizing, as well as long-term operation and maintenance of grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic systems across various government hospitals and medical colleges in Maharashtra.

The project will be executed under the Built-Own-Operate-Transfer model, with a total contract tenure of 25 years.

The scope includes end-to-end lifecycle responsibility—from initial deployment to sustained operations—ensuring reliable and efficient solar power generation for critical healthcare infrastructure.

Krystal Integrated Services holds a 49 per cent stake in Krystal Solar Energy SPV, enabling it to participate in the long-term value creation from the project.

Sanjay Dighe, Executive Director & CEO, Krystal Integrated Services said the BOOT model provides predictable, annuity-like revenue streams over the contract period and aligns with India’s broader push towards sustainable and green energy adoption.

This development further strengthens the company’s order book visibility and enhances its positioning in the fast-growing renewable energy segment, particularly in government-backed infrastructure projects, he said.

With increasing emphasis on energy efficiency and cost optimization in public healthcare facilities, the deployment of rooftop solar systems is expected to deliver long-term operational savings for government institutions, while reducing carbon footprint.

In January, Krystal Integrated Services won three solid waste management contracts worth ₹275 crore.

Shares of the company were up 3 per cent at ₹589 on Friday.
