Radisson Hotels expands presence in Mumbai metro region

Radisson Hotel group is strengthening it’s presence in Mumbai Metropolitan Region with the signing of two hotels in Thane and Mira Bhayender areas.

The hotels are expected to be ready in three years and will add 217 keys to the region’s hospitality market.The properties are being developed by Vihang group, owned by Pratap Saranik, Shiv Sena politician and transport minister of Maharashtra.

Radisson Hotel group’s South Asia COO and managing director Nikhil Sharma said the signings align with the company strategy to deepen footprint within high growth urban clusters and cater to evolving demand from business and meeting-conference-events segment.Currently Radisson has four hotels in MMR and five other under development.
