Sanjay Dutt’s TIGERFIRE Vodka eyes 25,000 case sales in India by year-end

Tigerfire Vodka, the premium spirits brand co-founded by actor Sanjay Dutt along with Paresh Ghelani, is betting big on India’s growing premium vodka segment, with plans to expand to five Indian markets within a year and double that presence over the next two years.

Speaking about the brand’s growth strategy, Paresh Ghelani, Co-Founder, TIGERFIRE Vodka, said the company expects to sell 30,000–40,000 cases globally by the end of this year, including 20,000–25,000 cases in India alone, as it accelerates both domestic and international expansion.

Launched in India in December 2025, TIGERFIRE is a super-premium artisan-crafted vodka manufactured and bottled in France.

Ghelani said, “When we started the brand, we always had a global vision in mind. Our first release was in Los Angeles, and then we did our grand launch in India because our presence here is stronger.”

The company is currently present across Maharashtra, Goa and Haryana, while registrations are underway for Telangana, Delhi, and Punjab.

India presence

Globally, TIGERFIRE has already established a presence in the United States through premium retail outlets, curated hospitality channels and high-end restaurants. The company is currently focusing on select placements across the US before scaling further internationally.

“We’re selecting high-end restaurants across different regions in America for now, and then we’ll expand as we go,” Ghelani said.

Ghelani said the company sees a significant opportunity in India despite the country traditionally being whiskey-dominated. “India is a large whiskey-drinking country, but vodka is one of the few spirit categories that is growing here,” he said. “We felt there was a gap for a premium vodka that offers both great quality and relevance to Indian consumers.”

The company is positioning TIGERFIRE as a high-quality sipping vodka. “Our target audience is anybody who appreciates quality, craftsmanship, and good taste,” the co-founder said. “This was never meant to be just a celebrity-endorsed vodka.  The founder who loves an amazing product happens to be a celebrity. Sanjay has taken personal involvement in crafting the spirit itself.”
