has issued an administrative warning to Company on the back of a complaint registered by an investor.
In an announcement on exchanges, the fund house disclosed that an investor in ICICI Prudential Strategic Alpha Fund, an alternative investment fund managed by it, complained that ICICI Prudential AMC failed to verify the eligibility of investors to invest in the AIF on time.
Pursuant to review of a complaint from an investor, SEBI has observed a procedural delay in verifying the eligibility of investor for investing in one of the schemes under an alternative investment fund.
The amount was refunded later upon carrying out the necessary checks along with additional amount as compensation, it added.
There is no material impact on the financial, operation or other activities of the company, said ICICI Prudential AMC on Wednesday.
