has disclosed that the (SEBI) has initiated a forensic audit of the company.
The SEBI audit will examine alleged violations of the SEBI Act, 1992, the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act (SCAR), 1956, and the Companies Act, 2013, the company said in a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges on Wednesday. Reliance Power Ltd, part of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, is engaged in the development of power generation projects in India. The company’s portfolio includes coal-based, gas-based, hydro and renewable energy projects.
In a separate regulatory filing, the company said Manoj Pongde has ceased to be Head of Business and Legal with effect from January 14. This disclosure was made in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations and the relevant SEBI circular dated November 11, 2024.
