Stocks in focus today: Enviro Infra, NLC India, Berger Paints, Sanofi India, Fusion Finance and others

Suyog Urja Limited (SUL), a step-down subsidiary of Enviro Infra Engineers Ltd, has been awarded a major Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) turnkey contract valued at ₹189.99 crore (excluding GST). Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. awarded the order. Under the agreement, SUL will execute turnkey EPC works for the development of the 180 MW NTPC Wind Power Project in Parli, Maharashtra. Key responsibilities include Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) foundation works with reinforcement steel supply and geotechnical services, Balance of Plant (BoP) infrastructure-featuring the development of a 39-acre secure storage yard, right-of-way (ROW) coordination, and road network construction-and the construction and commissioning of a 33kV transmission line. The project is scheduled for completion by March 31, 2027.

NLC India Renewables wins 200 MW wind project

NLC India Renewables Ltd (NIRL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NLC India Ltd, participated in the Request for Selection (RfS) floated by SJVN Ltd for selection of Wind Power Developers for supply of 600 MW Wind Power from ISTS-connected Wind Power Projects on a pan-India basis under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding and emerged as a successful bidder for development of aforesaid project with a contracted capacity of 200 MW. Accordingly, NIRL has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from SJVN Limited.

Berger Paints starts Andhra Pradesh unit

Berger Paints India has announced the operational rollout of its new manufacturing unit in Andhra Pradesh with an annual installed capacity of 36,000 KL / MT per annum. The total investment was over ₹188 crore.

Fusion Finance transfers ₹35.20-crore stressed loan

Fusion Finance Ltd has announced the transfer of a stressed loan of ₹35.20 crore (about 65 per cent realisation/recovery rate) to an Asset Reconstruction Company (ARC).

Supreme Court dismisses Sanofi India petition

Sanofi India Ltd on Tuesday said the Supreme Court of India has dismissed its petition seeking to quash criminal proceedings related to a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) complaint over pharmaceutical supplies to Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mysore, between 2012 and 2015. The apex court did not record any finding of guilt nor adjudicate on the merits of the case. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) complaint alleges a conspiracy with BARC personnel to influence procurement decisions wrongfully. The criminal complaint remains pending for trial.

Juniper Green commissions 6.25 MW wind capacity

Juniper Green Stellar Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Juniper Green Energy Limited, has commissioned 6.25 MW of wind power capacity forming part of its 200 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy Project. With the commissioning, the project’s capacity stands at 353.45 MWp and ~201 MWh BESS, out of a total planned capacity of 550.6 MWp and ~201 MWh BESS. Following commissioning of the above capacity, the aggregate operational capacity of Juniper Green Energy Ltd and its subsidiaries stands at about 2,594 MWp and around 500 MWh BESS as of the date hereof.



Sukhjit Starch plans ₹500-crore Maharashtra unit

Sukhjit Starch and Chemicals Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to establish a new, state-of-the-art Maize Processing Unit in Nashik district. The proposed facility entails a capital expenditure (CapEx) of approximately ₹500 crore. The unit is designed with a maize grind capacity of 1,200 tonnes per day (TPD) to manufacture maize starch and its derivatives. This strategic expansion is intended to scale up the company’s manufacturing footprint and strengthen its market position across the region.

Kesar Industries approves ₹431-crore slump sale

The board of Kesar Industries has approved a proposal to sell the entire Sugar, Distillery, and Cogen Divisions of the company’s facility at Baheri, Bareilly, UP, as a going concern on a slump sale basis for Rs 431 crore.

The board of Continental Securities has announced its upcoming business expansion and capital raising plans. Accordingly, to expand its active footprint, the company proposes to grow its existing Gold Loan portfolio and scale up overall lending operations.

Cosmic CRF subsidiary wins ₹6.51-crore order

N.S. Engineering Projects Private Limited, a subsidiary of Cosmic CRF Limited, has secured new purchase orders totalling ₹6.51 crore (inclusive of GST) from a domestic customer in the Infrastructure and Iron & Steel sector for supply of 800 tonnes of Fabricated Mild Steel (MS) Items. The order has to be executed within one month.

Innovision wins ₹24.53-crore NHAI contract

Innovision has secured a Letter of Award (LoA) / Work Order from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a toll collection and facility maintenance contract valued at ₹24.53 crore.

Ritco Logistics secures ₹388-crore business wins

Ritco Logistics has released its Monthly Business Update for August. The company secured approximately ₹388 crore in new business wins across major energy, FMCG, steel, and industrial sectors. Simultaneously, its step-down subsidiary, TrucksUp Solutions Private Limited, completed a major equity funding round of ₹78.26 crore. The funds will target deep-tech/AI integration, product team expansion, intelligent freight-matching, asset utilisation, and fleet working capital.
