Mumbai-based film and content production company Sunshine Pictures Limited will open its initial public offering on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, with a price band fixed at ₹342 to ₹360 per equity share of face value ₹10 each. The subscription window closes on Thursday, August 20, with anchor investor bidding scheduled for Monday, August 17.
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of up to 48,00,034 equity shares aggregating ₹172.80 crore and an offer for sale of up to 30,37,157 shares aggregating ₹109.33 crore, bringing the total offer size to approximately ₹282 crore. The offer-for-sale portion includes shares from promoters Vipul Amrutlal Shah (₹73.13 crore) and Shefali Vipul Shah (₹36.21 crore). Proceeds from the fresh issue, up to ₹112.5 crore, will go toward working capital requirements, with the remainder for general corporate purposes.
Bids must be made in a minimum lot of 41 equity shares and in multiples thereof. The shares are proposed to be listed on both BSE and NSE, with NSE designated as the primary stock exchange. GYR Capital Advisors Private Limited is the book running lead manager to the issue.
Sunshine Pictures, known for commercially successful films including The Kerala Story, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, and the Commando and Force franchises, reported standalone revenues of ₹74.43 crore in FY2026, with an EBITDA of ₹58.54 crore and a net profit of ₹40.02 crore. The company claims an EBITDA margin of 78.65 per cent and a PAT margin of 53.77 per cent for the period.
The company has produced 13 commercial films, two web series, three TV serials, and recently launched music and digital content verticals. Six films and two web series are currently in the production pipeline.
