Unisex salon brand PURE 8 enters Kerala

PURE 8, a Mumbai-based unisex salon brand, has announced its expansion into the Kerala market. The brand, which operates on the FOCO (Franchise Owned, Company Operated) model, launched its master franchise on Thursday during Techcon26, an event organised by Techfed Kerala in association with Kerala startup Mission at Infopark, Kakkanad.

PK Kunhalikutty, Kerala Minister for Industries and Information Technology, along with Abdul Gafoor, Minister for Fisheries, announced the launch of the master franchise. Kunhalikutty expressed the hope PURE 8 business model has the potential to create entrepreneurship opportunities in the State.

By bringing the FOCO model to Kerala, PURE 8 aims to offer an investment opportunity for local entrepreneurs, combining premium grooming standards with professional corporate management, a spokesperson for the franchise said. PURE 8 Unisex Salon plans to establish 200 outlets across the country within next two years.

The brand offers a broad range of professional salon services for women and men. The service portfolio includes hair, beauty, grooming care treatments and special-occasion services. PURE 8 is also developing signature combo packages that combine selected services into ‘convenient and value-focused experiences.’

The final service menu and packages may vary according to location and customer requirements, the spokesperson added. Among those attending the launch event the brand’s leadership team, including Muneer Abdulla; Saiju Jose; Nisham Ismail; Muhammed Musthafa; Albert Varghese; and Kamarudheen KP.
