has commissioned a 400 megawatt solar cell manufacturing facility in Telangana as part of its Rs 11,000-crore expansion plan, the company said. The Hyderabad-based company is aiming to more than double its annual solar cell and module manufacturing capacities to 10.6 gigawatt and 11.1 gigawatt, respectively, to cater to domestic demand, a company official said. Premier Energies is in the process of investing around Rs 11,000 crore to achieve its expansion targets by 2028.
has received a communication from the power ministry seeking changes in its top leadership and restructuring of the board to make the sole promoter. The board of directors “took note of the office memorandum dated 16 January 2026 received from Ministry of Power”, PTC India said in an exchange filing. According to the memorandum, NTPC may be the sole promoter of PTC. The other three promoters — PFC, Powergrid, and NHPC — shall withdraw their nominee directors from the board of PTC and relinquish their rights, it said.
has signed three MoUs worth Rs 17,000 crore with Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Kerala governments to invest in renewable energy space, a company official said. The memorandums of understanding (MoUs) were signed on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) summit in Davos, Switzerland on Friday. As per the MoUs, INOXGFL Group will set up solar power projects, cells and modules manufacturing plants as well as solar module testing laboratories in the states. Inox Green Energy may remain in focus.
