Digital lending platform Fibe to raise ₹750 cr

Fibe, a digital consumer financing fintech, plans to raise ₹750 crore primarily to strengthen its lending subsidiary and for general corporate purposes. Fibe will further strengthen its technology and artificial intelligence capabilities as it looks to build a scalable digital lending platform.

The company’s technology-led operating model, including the use of AI and ML across operations, and the expansion of its purpose driven financing vertical, has led to 45 per cent compounded annual growth rate in AUM to ₹8,603 crore as of March, 2026 from ₹4,064 crore as of March 31, 2024. Its profit for the year increased to ₹257 crore in FY26 from ₹114 crore in FY25.

Fibe plans to further integrate AI across customer engagement, risk assessment, credit decisioning, portfolio management and employee productivity.

The company’s technology-led operating model supports multiple lending products and distribution channels across India through its mobile application and web interface.

Fibe Mind, which enables management to access business information, monitor trends and identify factors influencing business performance and growth to support decision-making; and an AI engineering agent, which assists their technology teams in software development activities, including code generation, testing and deployment through integration with internal systems and workflows.

During FY26, Fibe’s technology ecosystem processed about 1.31 million loan applications every month, resulting in fresh disbursals of ₹7,614 crore. The platform also managed 15.74 million unique applicants during the year, defined as applicants who applied for their first loan on Fibe’s platform during the period.



As part of its AI and ML-enabled credit assessment process, customers provide additional information, including income, demographic, residential and employment details.

Fibe’s proprietary scorecard evaluates parameters such as internal policy checks, credit bureau data, income estimation models and behavioural indicators. Of the unique applicants, 2.02 million were approved through Fibe’s credit assessment process.
