Gallantt Ispat Limited, India’s leading steel conglomerate, is entering a strong growth phase starting FY2026–27, backed by a major expansion in its steel manufacturing capacity and a stronger national brand presence. As part of its aspirational brand journey, Janhvi Kapoor joins Ajay Devgn as a brand ambassador for Gallantt TMT Bars — a move that reflects the brand’s evolving identity as it expands its footprint across India.
The association also speaks to a broader shift: women are playing an increasingly active role in sectors long seen as male-dominated, from construction and architecture to engineering and infrastructure, and are shaping more of the decisions behind India’s homes and built environment. Gallantt’s partnership with Janhvi is a nod to this shift and to the growing influence women hold in the country’s development story.
Gallantt operates an integrated manufacturing chain across Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) and Kutch (Gujarat), spanning pellets, DRI/sponge iron, billets, TMT bars and captive power. It has 1 million tonnes of annual finished-steel capacity, 129.5 MW of captive power, a 7 MW captive solar plant, and a workforce of over 5,000.
FY2026–27 marks a pivotal year for the company. Steel production capacity is set to rise from roughly 1 million tonnes to 1.3 million tonnes by the second half of 2026, backed by a Rs 3,000 crore capex covering capacity expansion, an 85 MW solar plant, and the commissioning of iron ore mines in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
With Janhvi Kapoor now alongside Ajay Devgn, Gallantt TMT Bars enters a new phase of its consumer identity — pairing decades of manufacturing strength with a brand voice that is gender-neutral, aspirational and built for a forward-looking India.
