reported a 22 per cent year-on-year jump in cement production to 781,056 tonnes for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, up from 640,435 tonnes in the same period last year.
Cement dispatches also rose 22 per cent to 779,428 tonnes for the quarter. For the first half of FY27, cement production grew 16 per cent to 1,473,970 tonnes, while dispatches were up 15 per cent at 1,459,975 tonnes.
However, the performance was uneven across other business segments. Cement boards production rose 22 per cent quarter-on-quarter to 13,071 tonnes, but on a half-year basis it declined 12 per cent to 24,710 tonnes, compared to 28,104 tonnes a year ago. Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) production and sales fell 10 per cent to 59,882 cubic metres in Q2 and dropped sharply by 18 per cent for the half-year. Hydro power generation was down 43 per cent to 9.22 million units both for the quarter and half year, reflecting weak generation conditions.
On the NSE, NCL Industries closed at ₹160.54 on October 8, 2026, down 2.07 per cent from the previous close of ₹163.93. The stock has shed over 22 per cent in the past year, against a broader market decline of around 11 per cent, with a market capitalisation of approximately ₹726 crore.
