Google opens applications for DigiPivot 2026: Here’s how to apply, last date, eligibility, curriculum, and more

Google has opened applications for DigiPivot 2026. The Alphabet-owned tech giant is expanding the upskilling program to include a cohort of 2,000 early-career professionals this year and will include artificial intelligence (AI) as a core part of the curriculum in this edition, the company said in an official release today.

The 2026 cohort will be five times the size of the program’s 2024 cohort and will introduce as a core part of its curriculum, the statement read. “India is already among the world’s most active users of AI, with more than 80% of employees using AI at work. The question is quickly moving from whether people will use AI to how well they can use it. The real opportunity is to help people use AI to extend their own capabilities: to learn faster, solve more complex problems and become more productive, while continuing to bring the judgment, context and creativity that good work requires,” said Madhuri Duggirala, Vice President, gTech Ads.

She added, “DigiPivot is built around that idea. As we expand the program to 2,000 participants, we want to give young professionals a strong grounding in AI alongside the digital, leadership and problem-solving skills that will help them make the most of it throughout their .”

What is DigiPivot? What is the focus for 2026?

Launched in 2020, DigiPivot has trained 800 women professionals, including 400 participants in 2024, the release said.

  • Eligibility: The latest edition, “is widening its eligibility to recent and professionals with up to five years of work experience, while expanding outreach to talent pools in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities”, as per the release.

Applications are open to recent graduates and professionals with up to five years of full-time work experience. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • Cost: The virtual four-month program, to be delivered in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta and Accenture, is free of cost, as per the statement.
  • Areas of focus: DigiPivot 2026 will offer training across three areas — AI foundations, digital marketing and e-commerce, and leadership and career readiness. Participants will undertake AI Professional Certificate and Digital Marketing and E-commerce Professional Certificate, alongside a Level Up series covering communication, leadership, stakeholder management, resume building and interview preparation, it added.
  • On the curriculum, Shekar Khosla, Vice President, Marketing, Google, said: “AI is already changing how businesses understand consumers, create ideas and solve problems. For young professionals entering the , knowing how to use these tools alongside strong digital marketing and problem-solving skills will increasingly matter. There is remarkable talent across India, far beyond the traditional centres of the digital economy. DigiPivot’s expansion is about making high-quality training more accessible to that talent and helping young people turn new technology into practical skills they can use at work.”

DigiPivot 2026: Check curriculum

  • AI Foundations: A 10-hour Google AI Professional Certificate covering foundational and applied . This includes AI foundations, Generative AI, prompt engineering and data analysis, as per the website.
  • Digital Marketing and e-commerce: A 120-hour Google Professional Certificate covering areas including search, e-commerce, analytics and digital marketing. This covers SEO, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Search Engine marketing, and e-commerce, the website stated.
  • Level Up Series: Approximately 20 hours focused on leadership, communication, stakeholder management, resume building, interview preparation and interactions with Google and industry leaders. The website noted that this will include sessions on new-age marketing by IIM Calcutta faculty, resume building and interview prep by Accenture LearnVantage expert, and fireside chats with Google leaders.

  • Further, the selection process will be completed by 6 October (selected candidates will be notified by email).
  • The program will launch on 10 October 2026 and spanning four months, will be completed by 31 January 2027.
  • Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the program.
