At 10.32 am, the stock traded 11 per cent higher at ₹3,193.40, soaring to a high of ₹3,339 from the previous close of ₹2,875.30.
GRSE shares rally
The company posted a standalone net profit of ₹303.19 crore for the quarter ended March 2026, up 24.1 per cent y-o-y from ₹244.24 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Revenue from operations rose 29 per cent y-o-y to ₹2,119.21 crore, compared with ₹1,642.03 crore in the year-ago quarter, indicating strong execution and order momentum.
For the full financial year FY26, profit after tax increased 42 per cent to ₹747.93 crore from ₹527.40 crore in the previous year, underlining sustained growth across its shipbuilding and engineering operations.
The board of directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹6.70 per share for FY26, further supporting investor sentiment.
The strong quarterly performance, coupled with healthy annual growth and shareholder returns, drove the sharp rally in GRSE shares during the session.
