Shares of Lenskart Solutions Ltd were in focus on Thursday after around 4 crore shares, representing nearly 2.3 per cent equity, changed hands in a block deal worth about ₹1,960 crore.
According to NSE data, the transaction was executed at ₹490 per share, a discount of around 2 per cent to the stock’s previous closing price. The identities of the buyers and sellers were not known at the time of writing.
The stock traded largely unchanged despite the sizeable transaction. Lenskart shares opened at ₹496.60 against the previous close of ₹500.15 and were trading at ₹503.70 at 10.08 am.
Earlier media reports had indicated that Platinum Jasmine A 2018 Trust was likely to sell a 2.3 per cent stake in the company through a block deal. The reported floor price for the transaction was reported at ₹486 per share.
